Hardwood and simple stems

Hello there and what a wet morning it is here today. Here's a card I made using the Hardwood stamp. It's so versatile, I love it!
I used Simple Stems to make the flowers decoupaging them. I added Basic Pearls to the centre of the flowers. The flowers are stamped in Cherry Cobbler and the seam binding is the same colour. I used Baked Brown Sugar the stamp the Woodgrain onto Very Vanilla card stock. I matted and layered with  Baked Brown Sugar and Very Vanilla. The Sentiment is from Delightful Dozen. Hope you like it.

There's a promotion on at Stampin Up you can join for £50 pounds, getting £55 pounds worth of goods and a Starter kit worth £50 also. This is a limited offer until the end of June.
Just think the new catalogue is out from 30th May for us to pre order you could be playing with BRAND NEW products before any one else. If you would like more information or would like to join my team I would LOVE you to join me. Contact me here, on face Facebook, or  order direct using the buy now button. Thanks for looking, bye for now, Joanne x

Zoo Babies

Hello there, I looked at  Zoo Babies today. Rather than go with traditional pinks and blues I went with  crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding and  so saffron. I stamped the images in these colours and then mounted them on scalloped circles in the same colours. As the picture shows I thought it could be used for a birth congratulations or an early years birthday.
I trimmed the card with pistachio pudding stretch ribbon. All these things can be found in the catalogue on the side bar. You can buy straight from the catalogue or leave me a message either here or on Facebook and I will get back to you. Thanks for looking, Joanne x

Afternoon Picnic

Hello there hope you are having a good weekend if rather a wet one. I was playing around with the humble baked bean can, now don't think I've gone mad, not just yet, hear me out first then decide! I used afternoon Picnic DSP, Spiral Flower Die, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Little Leaves Sizzlits, Crochet Lace and Basic Pearls. What do you think!
I then decorated some pens etc to put in the pot
Then got totally carried away and decorated a file and a box. I like the way they have turned out.

Whoops my knees weren't supposed to be in there! All for now Joanne x

Merry Monday#

Hi there just a quick blog today as I'm on my way to Telford for  the Stampin Up regional  training day, I'm sooo  excited! It's a card for Merry Monday Christmas Challenge, and it is Lori's challenge, add stars to your card/project.
This is my take on the challenge. I must admit it's a selection of crafty goodies I've used today. I've used Real Red ink and card stock (cs), Whisper White cs, and Dazzling Details for the stars. I also used Red glimmer paper for the large star aperture on the front of the card all from Stampin Up.The embossing folder is from Crafters Companion Christmas range and the stamp from Unmounted Stamp Company.
This is the front of the card you can just see the dazzling details if you take a close up look.
This is the inside of the card. I used the waste from the border punch around the main image. Take a look over at Merry Monday http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.ca to see all the entries. Thanks for looking, best wishes Joanne x

Match box pop up card

Hi there, a quick post today. Here is the card we made in Wednesday nights  class. We didn't have a class last week so it was nice to catch up with my crafty friends therefore only made one card but it's a good one.
I CASE this from Rachael Lewsley, a Stampin Up demonstrator. It's a large chocolate bar shaped box, called a Match box pop up card, which has an insert that slides in and out with flowers on. We put acetate behind them to help them pop up as they slide out. The papers are Afternoon Picnic and the flowers were made using Petite Petals stamps and punch.
Here's a picture from above. The card stock is Wisteria Wonder, Stampin Up have lovely names for colours.

This shows how you slide flowers into box. If you want any advise on how to make it leave me a message, or there is a great utube video on My Stampin Haven, Rachael's site, give it a go, its easier than you think. Bye for now Joanne x

Graphic 45

Hello there hope you are well. I have another Christening card to show you as I always like to give a choice of cards. I used Graphic 45 papers, paper flowers, ribbon and pearls. Let's see what you think?
I have decorated the inside of this card as these papers are scrumptious.
Thanks for looking Joanne x

Lili of the Valley and Ribbon Girl

Hello there, diversifying from Stampin Up today. I have been asked to make a Christening card for a 4 year old little girl. When I saw ribbon girls challenge I thought it would fit the bill nicely. The brief is to use Lili of the Valley http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk topper or stamp and add pearls. I used a Lili of the Valley topper and it just sums up little girls for me or mine any way!  I used  3mm and 6mm  pearls and pearl string all from  Ribbon Girl http://www.ribbongirl.co.uk/catalog/ I used a variety of flowers net, ribbons, and pearl and bead sticks.
Pop over to Ribbon Girls blog http://www.ribbongirls.blogspot.co.uk and take a look at all the samples. Thanks for looking, all the best Joanne x

Yippee Skippee!

Hello there, I know it's getting late in the catalogue year but I've only just got around to purchasing the Yippee Skippee! Stamp set so I thought I had better make a card or two using the set. I thought I might use this for our anniversary. It's using the Fresh Prints DSP as well one of my fav's I think out of the Spring catalogue. Don't laugh too much eh! We've been married 30 years at Christmas but I still love him aah!
It's not that soppy, what do you think? There's time to change my mind yet, I've got to look at the new     Catalogue. All for now Joanne x

I've used the Watercolour Wonder DSP, The Petite Petals stamps and punch. I also used Daffodil Delight and Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and inks. I used  Whisper white card to stamp onto. This is the sketch.

Merry Monday #107

Hi there it's Merry Mondays Christmas Challenge. This week it's a sketch unfortunately I can't put it on my blog because for some reason I can't shrink the picture but I will link to the web site under my card. Obviously as it's Christmas most things are now retired. I used Wonderful Blessing and More Merry Messages stamp sets, frosted finishes embellishments, and Winter Frost Speciality DSP. The card stock is Whisper White and Night of Navy and Silver Fancy Foil Vellum. I stamped with Night of Navy ink and lastly added some small silver glitter card stars and a scalloped circle silver glitter border.
I really enjoyed putting this card together. I've only recently started following challenges and entering them but they are great for getting you thinking outside the box and hopefully I will have a great selection of Christmas cards when the Season arrives so thanks Merry Monday. Pop over and take a look at the rest of the entries. http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.ca All for now best wishes Joanne x

Just Add Ink # 213

Hello hope you are well. I'm having a go at Just Add Ink # 213. It's a beautiful collection of pastel colours and gold.

You will have guessed by now I love floral cards so that's what I have used over the chevron embossing. I have used pink pirouette card embossed with gold using Every Thing Eleanor stamps.  I used Soft sky ink on Whisper white card with the Petite Petals stamps and punch. I used  gold sequins for the centres.  Crisp Cantaloupe card was used to make the small flowers and Subtle Candy Dots. I stamped with Feel Goods. I used Brushed Gold card to frame the card and sentiment. Chevron ribbon finishes off the card
Take a look over at Just Add Ink to see all the samplesjust-add-ink.blogspot.com.au
That's all for now. Take care Joanne x
