Christmas card challenge Wondrous Wreath

Hello my lovelies hope you are well. This card uses a A5 Whisper White card base then a mat of Old Olive Real Red and Whisper White card stock. All corners have been rounded with Project Life Corner. Mat flat the Old Olive and Real Red card to the base card.I then stamped a sentiment in Real Red from the Wonderous Wreath stamp set at the top of the Whisper White topper. I used the heart shaped punch from the Itty Bitty Punches on each corner of this topper also. Apply Dimensionals to this topper and stick to base card. From Old Olive card stock I cut Fir branches ( not Stampin Up) to make the large branch shape. Using Silver Glimmer paper I punched small circles from retired Itty Bitty punches to apply to branches and inside the heart shapes I also had some small real cones which I adhered to card to make it more realistic. Finally I added a bow using Silver Satin Ribbon. Hope you like it, thanks for looking Joanne x

Christmas Card challenge Bright and Beautiful

Ive just had so much fun making my Christmas cards, I don't know which is my favourite stamp set. This one uses Bright and Beautiful which is stars with sentiments. I used Very Vanilla card stock (c.s.) and stamped all 3 stars the two larger ones once and the small twice in Versamark. I applied gold embossing powder and heat set them. I made an A5 base card in Very Vanilla c.s.  Onto this on the lower part of the card I stamped a sentiment in Versamark, applied Gold Embossing powder, tapped off the excess and heat set it.Using the Squares Collection of dies I cut the largest die which is scalloped out of Gold Foil Sheet the next down out of Very Vanilla then the next in Gold Foil. These were adehered together with glue then Dimensionals applied under the scallop and stuck to upper part of the card. Through the centre of these I applied some Organza Ribbon and made a bow with the same ribbon. Adhere to card and use one of the small stars as a centre to the bow. Mat and layer the stars on top of one another with Dimensionals and apply to squares. To finish add some Basic Rhinestones. All Stampin Up goods can be bought from me see my website, thanks for looking Joanne x

Christmas challenge Endless Wishes

Hi, today's card uses Wisteria Wonder card stock (c.s.). Again I've used my favourite Christmas paper All is Calm to mat onto card and then another mat Wisteria Wonder. I then took  12cmx12cm piece of Whisper White c.s. Onto this I stamped some snowflakes from Endless Wishes in Versamark then sprinkled Silver Embossing Powder over it, tapped off the excess and heat set them. I stamped some more in Wisteris Wonder ink and some in Pear Pizzaz ink.  I stamped a sentiment from the Endless wishes stamp set in the centre of the card. Once I was happy with the snowflakes I got to work with the Pear Pizzaz ink. I used a craft mat and some foam and in small circular motions applied ink over the stamped and embossed snowflakes. Once finished I wrapped a piece of Chevron Wisteria Wonder Ribbon around the worked piece and applied to the card. To finish I made a bow in the same ribbon I threaded an All is Calm snowflake with some Linen Thread and stuck it to the right side, middle of the ribbon with a Glue Dot then the ribbon bow on top. I applied Basic Rhinestones to the centres of the snowflakes and there we have the finished card. All for now Joanne x

Christmas card challenge Festival of Trees

Hello there here's another one from the card challenge using the Festival of Trees and punch. I made a card 15x15cm square in Lost Lagoon card stock(c.s.). I matted a piece of All is Calm paper onto this. I made two edges using the Scalloped Punch and stuck them on the left and right sides of a 14cmx14cm of Lost Lagoon c.s. I then cut a piece of Whisper White c.s. and put it in the Northern Flurry embossing folder then ran it through the Bigshot. I then stamped peace and joy in Lost Lagoon Ink in the top right hand corner of the card and matted it onto the part assembled card. Next I stamped the trees onto Whisper White card using Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Pear Pizzaz, Costal Cabana and Old Olive inks and punched them out with the tree punch and decorate as desired. The back layer of trees were adhered flat to the card the front row put on Dimensionals. To finish off dazzling diamond was rubbed over the embossed stars. Hope you like it. Take care, Joanne x

Christmas card challenge Beauty of the Season

Hello there, here, the next few posts will cover the Christmas cards we made on my Christmas card Challenge Class. It was a fabulous day and the ladies were great company. The first card we made used the Beauty of the Season stamp set, one of my favourites. We used an A4 piece of Cherry Cobbler folded in half and stamped the Gorgeous Grunge in Versamark then sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat set. We then stamped the Dictionary stamp in Crumb Cake onto Very Vanilla card. The bird and a sentiment from the Beauty of the Season were also stamped onto separate pieces of Very Vanilla card stock. All the edges were then distressed and then inked in Crumb cake. A double bow and a length of Very vanilla seam binding were wet and screwed up and left to dry. Once dry the length was wrapped around the dictionary piece of card and mounted onto the base card. Old Olive card stock was cut and distressed to fit the bird and sentiment stamps. We watered down some Crumb Cake ink then using a paint brush flicked the ink over the bird and sentiment to continue the grunge look. These were then matted onto the card the picture flat the sentiment on Dimensionals. An Antique Brad was wrapped around the centre of the bow and this was attached to the seam binding on the card with Glue Dots. The last addition was Dazzling Details to add a snow effect. I am entering this into the Paper Players #220 Sketch Challenge, Vintage.  Hope you like it. Thanks for looking, Joanne x

Triangle card

Hello there my lovelies, hope all is well in your world. Today is a masculine card I feel. I have used a 15cmx15cm square base card in Whisper White. Then matted a 14.5cmx14.5cm piece of Crushed Curry (cs) onto this. The DSP is Confetti Celebrations this is 14cmx14cm. I then used a piece of Crushed Curry (cs) 12cmx12 cm and run it through the Bigshot using the On Point Textured Embossing Folder. This was then matted onto the card. Using the Triangle punch I punched 2 triangles of each colour Smokey Slate, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay. These were put on Dimensionals and matted onto the card, top left and bottom right.
I punched out two tags using the Angle Tag Top punch in Smokey Slate and Bermuda Bay. I added Whisper White bakers twine to these and through a basic metal button. I used the Four You stamps to stamp Birthday Wishes onto Whisper White (cs) in Smokey Slate. I cut this to make a pennant then adhere it to the card finishing off with the button. Take care now, Joanne x

Well Worded Butterfly

Hello there, this is a 15x15cm square card. I've used Whisper White card stock as the base card then a 14.5cmx14.5cm mat of Daffodil Delight card stock and matted a 14cmx14cm square of  Flowerpot Designer Series Paper ( DSP) before I matted them onto the base card I wrapped some crushed curry chevron ribbon around them. I then stamped the butterfly from the Well Worded stamp set in Daffodil Delight onto the same colour card stock (cs). I did this twice so I could mat and layer them. I then using the bitty butterfly punch punched out a selection of butterflies using a selection of cs colours, blushing bride, night of navy, tangerine tango and lost lagoon. These were stuck to the card using multipurpose liquid glue. Basic Rhinestones were used for the body of the large butterfly. A crushed curry bow was added to the card to finish it off. Thanks for looking. All products can be bought through me via the website. All the best Joanne x

Big News. There's a Wedding

Hello there my Lovelies, hope you are well. Sorry I've not blogged for a while I've not been well but I'm back now. This card used the Big News stamp set. Firstly the card is 15 x 15 cms. It is fully covered by a piece of Gold Soiree paper, it is one of my favourites it looks like lace, Stampin Up must have known it would be a hit as they have made a large stamp in this design. Before I stuck this to the base card I wrapped some Gold Satin ribbon across the bottom of the paper, then added a bow. Using the Labels Collection dies I cut the largest in Gold Glimmer paper and the next largest in White Vellum. I dusted over the Vellum with the Embossing Buddy   and then stamped the happily ever after sentiment from the Big News stamp set in Versamark. I sprinkled on Gold Embossing Powder and then gently tapped off the excess then heat embossed it from the underneath so as not to scorch the vellum. I also used this method to make some hearts from the same stamp set which I cut out myself scored down the middle and stuck 3 together twice, to make dimensional hearts. The flowers using the same method from the Something to Say set were punched out using one of the Itty Bitty punches. Some of these flowers were also punched out in Gold Glimmer and some Itty Bitty hearts also. The Vellum was stuck to the Glimmer paper using Pinflair Glue, a 3D glue, applied underneath the gold embossed letters and where the hearts and flowers were placed. Basic Pearls were added to the centre of the flowers as a finishing touch. This would make a great wedding card or a 50 wedding anniversary card. Hope you like it,all the best Joanne x

Flower Patch with Papillon Popourri

Hello my Lovelies, today I'm sampling the Flower Patch stamps and Dies. The base card is 21 x 15 cms in Daffodil Delight card stock. I used a piece of Taffy DSP 20 x 14 cms and stuck this flat to the card base once I had wrapped Daffodil Delight seam binding around the left near edge of the paper. I cut another piece of Daffodil Delight card stock 15 x 11 cm and a piece of Whisper White 14 x 10 cm. Onto this I stamped some stems and flower heads. Onto some other Whisper White I stamped other flowers and Stems using the Flower Patch set and inks, daffodil delight, melon mambo, pumpkin pie, tempting turquoise, rich dazzle berry, old olive and pistachio pudding. These were then die cut using flower fair. Before adding these to the card  I used a distress tool and a silicone mat to work on to apply Soft Sky to the top half of the card to represent sky and Old Olive to the bottom for grass. I then stamped the sentiment onto the picture from the FlowerPatch stamp set in Tempting Turquoise. I them added Dimensionals to the die cut stems and some flowers and added these to the card. Some of the flowers were worked with a Ball Tool to add shape and dimension and stuck to the card with glue. I matted this onto the Daffodil Delight mat added Dimensionals to the back of this and added it to the main card. I them stamped some butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set onto card using the corresponding ink then punched them out using the Bitty Butterfly punch. These were stuck onto the card. A bow was added to finish the card off. Thanks for looking, best wishes Joanne x

Oops! sorry quite a shadow on this x

Well Worded Birthday Cake Banner

Hello to you my friends, here's another from the Well Worded set, it's the turn of the birthday cake. Make a 15 x 15cm card base. Add to this a 14.5 x 14.5 cm mat in Tempting Turquoise and then a piece of  Taffy DSP 14 x 14cm. I stamped the cake out 3 times on Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise card stock using the corresponding inks. Cut,Mat and layer them to get a trio of colour cake.  Cut a piece of Tempting Turquoise card stock  10.5 x 7.5 cm and Whisper White 10 x 7cm mat together then stamp Hip Hip Hooray onto the White from the Hip Notes set. Add Dimensionals to the back of this mat and apply to the card. Add the cake topper to this. Using Candy Dots from the Brights selection add a different colour to each corner. To finish off the card I used the Banner Punch punching out 6 banners using the colours for the cake 2 of each. I also used the Itty Bitty punches, star and heart 3 of each and stuck them alternately onto the banners. I then put them on Dimensionals and stuck them across top of card. I stuck some twine to the card to make it look like bunting. Hope you like it, thanks for looking, Joanne x

Happy Blooming Birthday

Hi there, today I'm using the Flower Pach stamp set and the dies that correspond with it, Flower Fair. The card base is 15 x 15 cms in Calypso Coral card stock. The designer paper DSP, I used is Gold Soirée . Before I matted this to the card I wrapped around Gold Satin Ribbon and applied a bow in the same. I stamped onto Whisper White card various flowers and leaves using Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Garden Green inks. I then die cut then and using the Stampin Pierce mat and Ball tool I shaped the flowers and leaves and attached them to the card using Pinflair glue to give differing height and layers.
The first card I used the floral side of the DSP and added Basic Pearls to the centre of the flowers.

The second one uses the reverse of the DSP, stripes, and Basic Rhinestones and I reversed the colours of the flowers. Doesn't it look different. Thanks for looking, Joanne x

Kinda Eclectic

Hi this is my first attempt with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  I used a Lost Lagoon card base 21 x 15 cms.  I cut a Whisper White piece of card 20 x 14 cms onto this I stamped the sun shape in the middle, in Hello Honey ink.    I cut another piece of Lost Lagoon card 41/2 cms x 14cms and used the scalloped punch along one edge. Just lay this across the centre of the card to judge where to stamp the leaves.Using Mossy Meadow ink I stamped the leaves from Kinda Electic 3 times, two that would protrude above the border and one below.  Onto a 2.5 x 14 cm piece of Whisper White card stamp the lettered dots in Lost Lagoon ink and attach this flat to the Lost Lagoon border. Wrap some Linen Thread around the right end of the border. Thread some of the linen thread through a Basic Metal Button and attach to border with a Glue Dot. Raise the border on Dimensionals and attach to card. Stamp the sentiment in Tangelo Twist to the bottom left of the card. On a separate piece of  Whisper white stamp 3 more sets of leaves in Mossy Meadow, two large butterflies in Blue Lagoon and two small in Tangelo Twist. Stamp 2 flowers from Everything Eleanor in the same. these are then shaped the flowers and butterflies matted onto each other then attached to the card. The leaves were matted onto the already stamped leaves on the card overlapping onto the border in places. The flower had some dots of Dazzling Details put onto it to finish it off.

Well Worded Moustache

Hi there, this is a quick but cut male birthday card. Make a card blank 21cms x 15cms.  Cut a piece of Real Red card stock 15 x15cms. Emboss with the Large Polka Dot folder and attach to card base Above this add a strip of Basic Black card stock, 2 x 15cms. above that stamp birthday wishes in Real Red from the Four You stamp set.  On Basic Black card stamp the moustache in versamark then apply white embossing powder and heat emboss. Cut this out using the Moustache Die and a further 2 plain Moustaches. Mount the stamped Moustache on Dimensionals and add to the centre of the Polka Dot piece. Apply glue to the other Moustaches and apply to either side of the first one. To finish off I added Candy Dots the red from the Brights and the black and white from the Neutral sets. All for now Joanne x

Friends Who Know

Hi there, hope you are well. This card is based on the Friends Who Know stamp set but I have used a lot of other Stampin Up items. Firstly I used versamark to ink up the Friends who Know stamp and also one of the Chalk Lines stamps. Both were stamped onto Blushing Bride card stock then Whisper White Embossing Powder was poured over the image, the excess shaken off and heat embossed. I die cut the Friends Who Know out with the largest Labels Collection Die. Underneath the Chalks Lines I used the Scalloped Punch to give a fancier finish to the lines. The card is 15cms x 15cms. I matted a 14.5cm x14.5cm of Night of Navy card stock onto this and the a piece of Flowerpot DSP 14cms x14cms. I raised the Friends die cut on pads and stuck it near to the top of the card. The border was stuck flat to the card. I used the large Scalloped Punch to cut a Night of Navy scallop, I also used the large Oval Punch to cut an oval in Whisper White and then I stamped on it with the Happy Birthday Wishes from the Petite Pairs stamp set. I matted and layered these onto one another then padded them up and put them on the middle of the Chalk Lines.
I used Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Blushing Bride card stock to make flowers from using Versamark and white embossing powder again. I punched out the flowers with the Petite Petals, Pansy and Itty Bitty punches added Basic Rhinestones and arranged them on the card. I love the way it looks but I would. Thanks for looking, all the best Joanne x

Fancy Fan, For You, Petite Petals

Hello, hope you are well. Today's card features a Whisper White base card. I then cut a circle  aperture in a piece of Bermuda Bay  and a smaller piece of Whisper White. Stamp a sentiment onto the white circle that's left from the For You Stamp set. Stick this centrally onto the base card. Then emboss the white card with the circle aperture in it with the Fancy Fan folder. Mat this onto the Bermuda bay aperture card then pad these pieces and affix to card base. Stamp and punch out a varied hue of blue Petite Petal flowers. Add Basic Rhinestones to their centres. Arrange these around the aperture. I placed a double bow across one of the corners of the card to finish it off. Take care, Joanne x

Papillon Potpourri, Dictionary, Blossom and Pansy Punches

Hello lovelies, hope you are well. I have made a flat aperture card today. I have used Whisper White and Melon   Mambo card stock and  2013-15 DSP. Firstly I cut an oval aperture using the Oval Collection into a piece of Melon Mambo card stock and the same size of aperture into a piece of scrap card. I inked up the Dictionary stamp, laid the scrap aperture card over the Whisper White base card then placed the stamp over the aperture. I applied more pressure over the stamp covering the aperture area to ensure the stamp hits the base card. Remove the scrap and you will be left with an oval shape with the Dictionary text. The Melon Mambo aperture card is then placed over the base card and stuck down.  Out of the DSP I punched 2 blossom flowers and 2 pansy flowers. I also punched 1 Elegant butterfly and 1 Bitty Butterfly. I gave a little shape to all these punched pieces them matted them onto the corresponding smaller punched piece.  The leaves are now discontinued. I added Basic Pearls to finish off.. Take care, Joanne x

Something To Say

Hello there, here's one l made using Something To Say. It's a very quick thank you card. I used Whisper White and Melon Mambo card stock throughout the card. The ribbon is also from Stampin Up but unfortunately has been discontinued. I simply matted and layered card stock using the Oval Collection Die set, stamping a message from the Something To Say stamp set, I also stamped some of the flowers in Melon Mambo and used the corresponding Itty Bitty Accent Punch and punched some of the flowers from the Melon Mambo DSP. To finish l added some Basic Rhinestones. Thanks for looking, Joanne x

Papillon Potpourri and Gorgeous Grunge

Hi, I've seen many variations of this card so here's my take on it. I used Gorgeous Grunge as my base and I stamped it four times using Daffodil Delight twice. The other colours are Real Red and Tangerinei Tango. I then stamped a varity of butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri and punched some butterflies from the corresponding  coloured card stock. Before sticking the butterflies on I stamped the sentiment from the For You stamp set. I then stuck the butterflies to the card. A quick and easy card. Thanks for looking, Joanne x

Million and One

Hi there following on from the graduation card here's another hedgehog and a card to go with it. They are just a bit of fun but cute as well. I stamped a sentiment from the Million and One stamp set onto Whisper White card stock with Melon Mambo ink. I then die cut the sentiment and a piece of Melon Mambo card stock with the Labels Collection one larger than the other. Add Blushing Bride DSP from the Subtle DSP pad for the base of the card. Stick down flat the sentiment to the Melon Mambo die cut then put pads underneath this to add dimension to the card, stick in the middle of the card.
Using the Petite Petals stamp and punch out a variety of flowers to put on the card. I put some Gold Twine on first at opposite sides of the sentiment. And built the flowers around this.i dotted a few Gold Sequins around the card also. I mistakenly used the old Bitty punches for the small flowers ( discontinued now) but the new Bitty punches have a lovely little flower which will work just as well. Have a great day and thanks for looking, Joanne x

Blue Ribbon stamp set

Hi, this is what we  made on Wednesday in class isnt it cute!

I used the Blue Ribbon stamp set, stamping the rosette on Basic Black card with Versamark and White Embossing powder heat setting it. The rest of the rosette is stamped onto Smoky Slate with Smoky Slate ink. I used Simply Stars embossing with silver embossing powder on Basic Black and  Smoky Slate. I used  Modern Medley (now discontinued)
and papers and the afore mentioned card stock to mat and layer the card. I used the Silver Ribbon to finish the card. Just for a bit of fun we made a hedgehog by folding a book, making a mortar board and a cute face with buttons. Thanks for looking, all for now, Joanne x

Maritime and Hardwood

hello there, hope you are well. this one uses the Maritime papers. l used the sea scape paper first as a backing then l cut out one of the octopus and put it on dimensionals. l didn't want to use the boat that is attached to the octopus so l cut it away. ln stead l stamped the Hardwood onto Whisper White card stock using Pool Party ink pad. l cut 3 planks from the stamped piece and tore the edges to give a worn look. l used tiny brads at each end.l then placed them onto the card over the octopus so the cut away part was not noticable. l then cut out the whale crab and lobster and arranged them onto the card. A birthday sentiment in Night of Navy finishes the card. All the goods for this card can be bought through me from Stampin Up. Thanks for looking. Best wishes Joanne x

Traveler Shaker Card

The Traveler set is a great new addition to help make male themed cards team it up with the new Maritime DSP and it's a win win situation. I used the Anchor sheet of DSP and cut it to fit 15cm x 21cm I cut it a third of the way down and turned it over. I put Real Red Taffeta ribbon across the divide and just tied a knot onto the length. I used some Linen Thread to make the swag for the pennants which are punched out of differing Maritime papers and Night of Navy and Real Red. The Ship is stamped onto a circle. The same size circle with a smaller circle is die cut in Whisper White and  a contrasting Maritime paper. The contrast is then cut into 8 pieces and 4 pieced onto the white ring. The Linen Thread is then wrapped around to give it the feel of a life ring. Mini Brads are attached to the white areas this finishes off the outside of the ring. Turn the ring over and affix Acetate to the inside of the ring. Use Stampin Dimensionals touching all the way around the edge of  the frame to give the lift to the frame but to also hold the glitter and punched out stars that make the shaker part of the card. Attach the ship circle to the card first then put a small amount of Silver Glitter and the Real Red stars punched from the Itty Bitty punches onto the picture. Wipe around the edges of the Dimensionals with the Embossing Buddy to stop the Glitter from sticking to then and then take the backing off the Dimensionals and attach over the picture and Glitter etc. the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamped in Night of Navy and die cut from the same named dies.
Thanks for looking, all the best Joanne x

Bloom With Hope and Hello There

This is using two new hostess sets as soon as l saw them l had to have them, you know l'm a sucker for flowers! I've used the new in colours Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey to mat and layer and I've used Very Vanilla to stamp onto again using the new in colours. I used Old Olive and Mossy Meadow to stamp the leaves from the Stippled Blossom set. I used Papillon Potpourri for the butterflies. The flowers are using Bloom With Hope and water coloured  with diluted colour from the stamp pads. Before l added the flowers l used the Hello There stamp, stamping with Versamark them covering with Gold Embossing powder and heat setting.

I used the Something To Say stamp set to stamp the small flower and used the new Itty Bitty Punch set just to use as a filler. Thanks for looking, Joanne x

Bloom With Hope

Hi there, hope you are well. Here's one using the new Hostess set, Bloom With Hope. I have to say this is a firm favourite from the catalogue but you know I'm a sucker for flowers. The card stock colours and inks mainly used are Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey. I stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock and water coloured the flower with Blackberry Bliss ink. To make the back ground I used a Work of Art stamp and stamped with  Hello Honey, Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight.
I decoupaged the flower and added a Basic Rhinestone to the centre.the edges of the coloured card used inside were die cut using the Finishing Touches edges.
The sentiment is from the Bloom With Hope set and was die cut using the Labels collection. All for now, Joanne x

Traveler 2

For this one l stamped the train in Basic Black first on the middle of my Whisper White mat and layer. Firstly l took a piece of copier paper and covered the train and on one side and with a blending tool and Old Olive l made a green back ground to represent the grass banking. On the other side l kept the train covered but tilted the copier paper and blended the colour again. I used a water brush and used a little Old Olive colour to make a grassy edge. I cut myself a circle out of a post it note and and stuck it to the top of the card. l used So Saffron to infill the circle using a blending tool, l removed the post it note which left me the sun shape. I then made myself a cloud shape out of card board and using some screwed up cotton wool and dabbing it in Marina Mist l dabbed around the cloud shape whilst l was happy with the depth of colour. l moved the cloud shape around until l liked the sky.I then went back to the sun and with a little screwed up cotton wool just gently dabbed around with the So Saffron to make it look slightly hazy.

I matted and layered with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. the sentiment is for Petite Pairs. I finished it off with 3 candy dots. All for now, Joanne x

Bloom With Hope meets Hello There

Well Hello There! Sorry couldn't help myself : ) I must admit there are some wonderful Hostess sets in this new catalogue. For this card I have merged two together Hello There and Bloom With Hope. I've used the Moonlight pad to back the card using two differing pieces. I used Hello Honey ribbon between the papers with a bow to the side.I have pulled out two main colours, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey, I have used these inks to stamp and then water colour the flowers from the Bloom With Hope set onto Very Vanilla circle discs and contrasting colours already mentioned. The sentiment  is stamped in  Blackberry Bliss with contrasting flowers from the same stamp set in Hello Honey.
I finished with 3 Basic Rhinestones in the top left corner. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking, Joanne x.

Traveler

Here we are then, the very first blog using all new products from the new catalogue. This card is using  the Traveler stamp set. I used Very Vanilla, Crum Cake and Early Expresso card stock to mat and layer. I stamped with Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand using the Work of Art Stamp to make the back ground. I then stamped the train from the Traveler stamp set in Early Expresso. I tied  Linen Thread around the card before matting onto card itself. I used the Chevron punch waste to put on the top left of card and the sentiment is from Petite Pairs.
Take care now, Joanne x

Brights DSP and Votive Box

Hi there, I'm off to demonstrate at a party today. This is the thank you gift and card l have made for the hostess.I have used Bermuda Bay card stock and the Brights DSP to make the Votive box, l have configurated the measurements from Sam Donalds http://pootles.co.uk/2014/05/26/unusual-fold-out-votive-candle-box-tutorial/ and it works just as well at 6cm increments. I used Petite Petal flowers to decorate the box and tied it up with Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon. l added Basic Rhinestones to the centre of the flowers.
The card used the same DSP. I have cut 4cms off the top of the front of the card to give a little twist . I have the made 3 flowers using Mixed Bunch, just punched straight from the DSP. I then stamped the Flower Shop and Petite Petals with Bermuda Bay ink and punched them out, layering them on top of one another. I have stuck them only half way onto the front of the card to allow a little movement.

All for now, Joanne x

Another Great Year meets Soho Subway

Hi there, I've got to admit I've not used this stamp set much, but I thought I would paper piece with it today. I matted and layered with Very Vanilla card stock and Soho Subway papers. I took a smaller piece of Very Vanilla and stamped Happy Birthday in Island Indigo I then used the same coloured ink and stamped the same saying again on a different Soho Subway paper and cut out the two scrolls and pieced them over the original stamp on the Very Vanilla card. I then stamped with Gorgeous Grunge to give some more character to the card.

I ragged the edges of the card and rolled one of the corners slightly. I added 3 Early Expresso candy dots to the bottom right corner. Thanks for looking, Joanne x

Papillon Potpourri

Today's post is about Papillon Potpourri. I have seen a lot of cards like this and had to have a go with myself. I used Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Real Red and Whisper White card stock. I used Real Red, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight to stamp with. I used both butterfly punches to obtain both large and small butterflies stamped using Papillon Potpourri. The grunge is from the Gorgeous Grunge set
Thanks for looking, all the best Joanne x

Happy Watercolour, Thank you

Hello there, l have loved the Happy Watercolour set and will be sad to see it go.  I used Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Early Expresso card stock. I used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede to stamp with. I think the Organza Ribbon and Basic Rhinestones finish the card off.
Thanks for looking, Joanne x
