Merry Monday Christmas Challenge

It's challenged alright seeing as it's Thursday but hey ho l wanted to start making Christmas cards so here we go. It's "decorative Christmas words " the theme and l never used this stamp when l purchased it originally so l thought why not have a go now. It's got quite a masculine theme this card but we all know lone males and l thought this fitted the bill well. I used all Stampin Up goods, black card stock,  silver foil sheet, silver vellum and embossing powder, Love and Joy and Simply Stars stamp sets, Silver Ribbon and Red Glimmer Paper to decorate the words. Hope you like it.
Take a look over at http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.ca and have a look at all the entries. It's never too early for Christmas is it!

SUO CHALLENGE# 95 featuring flowers

Hi, I've decided to start entering some card challenges and it's working out very well. This week SUO Challenge 95 is " featuring flowers". This couldn't work out better as I still had my mum's birthday card to make so out came my Stampin Up stash and here's what I made.
I used the spiral flower die, cutting some in half to make the smaller flowers. The little leaves sizzlits and the Brights DSP, real red and old olive and old olive card stock.I added gems to the centre of the flowers and rather than making a bow I pleated some organza ribbon and added it under the leaves. Check out all the entries at SUO CHALLENGE. Going to make a box now. Take care, Joanne x
