Something Borrowed

Hello there  and Happy New Year to you all. I know, January has nearly gone, but hey ho! I've not had a good couple of months and I've been out of action but the up side is I hope I've got all my illness out of the way for this year!
This is the swap I made for Julie Kettlewells SAB training, it was a wonderful day and I met a lot of her wonderful team to boot!. I used Sahara Sand card stock for base card. I matted this with Something Borrowed DSP. I stamped two of the lace flowers from the Petal Potpourri onto Whisper White C.S then punched them out with the  Flower Medallion Punch. I then cut these in half and fitted them along the diagonal of the paper but not centrally as this would foul the bottom edge of the card and it would not let it sit correctly on a surface.
I used a 0.5cm strip of champagne glimmer paper to cover the cut edge of the flowers to add a little glamour to the card. I then stamped a sentiment in Sahara Sand from the Tag Talk stamp set and punched it out with the Label Bracket punch. I also punched out this shape in Champage Glimmer Paper. I cut this one down the centre and snipped off the half notches then stuck it behind the label sentiment to give it a bit more depth. Thanks for looking , Joanne xx
